So how many kinds of a wasp is Ann Coulter? And does she hate us because we aren’t as cute as she is?

Here’s a quote:

As with all its other promotional pieces on single motherhood over the years, the Times followed a specific formula to make this social disaster sound normal, blameless and harmless — even brave.

These single motherhood advertisements include lots of conclusory statements to the effect that this is simply the way things are — so get used to it, bourgeois America! “(A)n increasing number of unmarried mothers,” the article explained, “look a lot more like Fran McElhill and Nancy Clark — they are college-educated, and they are in their 30s, 40s and 50s.”

I found this while organizing old photos. This one is from a couple of years ago at Natural Tunnel. I tried to photograph the inchworm for several minutes, and I got pretty good photos of his back end, since it pretty much remained anchored while he decided which way to go. His front was always in motion, as it is in this photo.

On October 15th a radio talk show host ventured a whole psychological profile of Barack Obama based on the fact that he has created his own flag to replace the American flag. I’m still trying to figure out how he managed not to notice that Barack Obama was in Ohio, where an “O” might be expected on a flag.

I can’t imagine another 4 years listening to a preppy bad boy who graduated at the low end of his class, managed to do well on his family’s influence and money, left a trail of expensive wreckage behind him, refused to believe that rules applied to him, and will look you directly in the face and lie. Eight years is enough, and more of the same is unthinkable.
